Each business is different. For some, we begin by working "in the trenches" to create instant bandwidth and begin developing strategies to meet your goals. For others, we meet on a scheduled basis to check in on specific projects.

We will develop a plan with you that meets your needs now and for the long-term.

What is the cost for service?

Our services are $69 per hour.

Why do your clients hire you?

Our clients choose Colorado Transition Partners for a variety of reasons. The most common are:

They need help now. Not two months from now after they have created a job description, posted, interviewed, hired, and trained an employee. We are able to respond to urgent needs quickly. In most cases we can begin work the same day.

They aren't sure they are ready to hire. We can create bandwidth so that business owners have time to consider their options rather than risking a rushed hire that results in an unpleasant relationship and wasted resources. Hiring Colorado Transition Partners as a subcontractor also allows our clients to consider what work they want to delegate and take time to search for an employee who fits their needs and culture.

They need short-term help. Maternity leave, vacation, illness. Business owners often feel like they can't experience any of these common events without their business suffering. We are not a temp agency. We are professional business administrators who are invested in the success of your company. We can help your business continue to thrive while you take some time away.

They need a sounding board. Many of our clients have operated as "one-person shops" for years or are just beginning to strike out on their own. In either case, they haven't had the opportunity to think through some of their business decisions. We have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly in many businesses and can provide objective perspective on opportunities for improvement. At the end of the day, though, our clients are still the boss and continue to control their companies.

They want to keep their operation "above board." We have seen plenty of companies hire "subcontractors" (e.g., family, friends, neighbors, etc), but many do not follow the law regarding the contractor relationship. Simply issuing a 1099 isn't enough to avoid an audit by the IRS. Colorado Transition Partners is structured to provide an easy contractor relationship that keeps you out of hot water in that respect.

What if I need to cancel service?

Since you pay as you go, there are no contract commitments other than payment for completed projects.

Our goal for all of our clients is to find smart, cost-effective, long-term solutions to grow their companies. When our work is done, we will be sure you are prepared for your next phase.
